Fluorescence Ratio Imaging Systems for Microscopes

We offer several types of ratio imaging systems for fluorescence microscopes to suit your requirements and budget.  We are currently shipping version 2.0 of FluorImage^TM.  Version 2.0 includes many new features.  For assistance or more details, please call us.

System Details

Microscope Imaging System 1:  This low cost system uses the existing mercury lamp illuminator on your microscope as the excitation source.  The fluorescence emission is measured by camera and captured by FluorImage^TM software.  This system is best for single dye applications (rhodamine, calcium green, rhod-2, fluorescein, etc.).  Less expensive or higher performance systems can be configured using a different camera.  Please call us for details.

Microscope Imaging System 2:  This system also uses the existing mercury lamp illuminator on your microscope, but incorporates a filter wheel between the mercury lamp house and the input of your microscope.  The added filter wheel allows selection of four excitation wavelengths.  The remainder of the system is identical to System 1, above. This system allows rapid and automated changing of the excitation wavelength, and is well-suited for use of dual excitation probes (fura-2 for calcium, BCECF for pH, etc.).  Less expensive or higher performance systems can be configured using a different camera.  Please call us for details.

Microscope Imaging System 3:  This system uses our popular Model S48D Xenon arc illuminator for powerful excitation and automated shutter and wavelength control.  Also the excitation energy at any wavelength can be controlled.  This system allows rapid and automated changing of the excitation wavelength, excitation energy and is best-suited for use of dual excitation probes (fura-2 for calcium, BCECF for pH, etc.) or multi-probe combinations.  Less expensive or higher performance systems can be configured using a different camera.  Please call us for details.
