The Model PC-DAQ Controller is an PCI
PC card that controls both the Model S48D Illumination Source and the Model D48 Detector
Module. The Controller interfaces with these components as part of a complete
multiwavelength fluorescence system. This Plug and Play-compatible card supports machine
control, pulse counting and analog data acquisition. For a more general discussion of this

Features
- The Model PC-DAQ Controller is a PC card that
controls both the Model S48D Illumination Source and the D48 Detector Modules. The card is
Plug and Play compatible and easy to install.
- A breakout box is also included for auxiliary analog
inputs. Together with software, the card supports machine control and contains a complete
photon counting system for multiwavelength fluorescence measurements. It also contains a
multiplexed A to D converter to allow up to 8 channels of analog input to be stored along
with your fluorescence data.
- Included with the PC-DAQ Controller is easy to use
Windows-based software. The software provides powerful instrument control, data
acquisition, and data analysis. The data analysis software allows the user to examine the
data in fine detail and apply signal-processing functions such as ion concentration
calculations, Fourier transform and frequency domain analysis, digital filtering and data
smoothing (Savitzky-Golay). The data can also be easily exported to other software
programs.
- The PC-DAQ Controller is available for purchase
separately for use in analog data collection, or as a component in a complete
multiwavelength fluorescence system. Custom software drivers can be supplied for
user-specific control functions or for OEM applications.
