Systems Overview
 

This page describes how our various products work together to implement several types of fluorescence systems. Because of our modular component design, we can configure a system to specifically meet both your requirements and your budget.

Click on the specific product to learn more about it.  Note that the system can also be configured for fluorescence imaging, although a camera is not shown in this illustration.

The above diagram graphically illustrates the integration of our major products and accessories.  Our fluorometer systems can be controlled by either the RS-DAQ or PC DAQ Controller.  Both controllers will operate the Model D48 Detector, Model S48D Illumination Source and the Model MFW Filter Wheel Assembly.  If you wish to use a microscope for measuring single cell fluorescence, you can use either the Model MFW-4 Filter Wheel Assembly with your microscope illuminator or our Model S48D Illumination Source.  The Model S48D Illumination Souce and the Model D48 Detector can also be used with the Model CV-1 Cuvette Module for macro samples. 

The illumination components can also be used with our FluorImageTM ratio imaging software.

Microscope-based Photometry Systems
Single wavelength excitation, multiwavelength emission. 

  • System 1.   Fluorescence microscope with microscope illuminator, Model D48 Detector, Model PC-DAQ Controller, Desktop Computer and microscope emission port adapter.

  • System 2.   Fluorescence microscope with microscope illuminator, Model D48 Detector, Model RS-DAQ Controller, Desktop or Laptop Computer and microscope emission port adapter. 

Multiwavelength excitation, multiwavelength emission. 

  • System 1.   Fluorescence microscope with fluorescence illuminator, Model MFW-4 Filter Wheel Assembly, Model D48 Detector, Model PC-DAQ Controller, Desktop Computer and microscope emission port adapter.

  • System 2.   Fluorescence microscope, Model S48D Illumination Source,  Model D48 Detector, Model PC-DAQ Controller, Desktop Computer and microscope excitation and emission port adapters. 

  • System 3.   Fluorescence microscope with fluorescnce illuminator, Model MFW-4 Filter Wheel Assembly, Model D48 Detector, Model RS-DAQ Controller, Desktop or Laptop Computer and microscope emission port adapter.

  • System 4.   Fluorescence microscope, Model S48D Illumination Source,  Model D48 Detector, Model RS-DAQ Controller, Desktop or Laptop Computer and microscope excitation and emission port adapter.

Cuvette-based Systems

Multiwavelength excitation, multiwavelength emission. 

  • System 1.   Model CV-1 Cuvette Module, Model S48D Illumination Source, Model D48 Detector, Model PC-DAQ Controller, and Desktop Computer.

  • System 2.   Model CV-1 Cuvette Module, Model S48D Illumination Source, Model D48 Detector, Model RS-DAQ Controller, and Desktop or Laptop Computer. 

Fluorescence Imaging Systems

Multiwavelength excitation amd fluorescence imaging. 

  • We offer may configurations for ratio fluorescence imaging.  Either the , Model S48D Illumination Source or the Model MWF-4 can be used for illumination and either the PC-DAQ or RS-DAQ can be used to controll the iluminator.  See our FluorImageTM web page for more details.
