24 Well Microtitre Rectangular Chamber (Model VC-MT24) The 24 well microtitre chamber uses one 48 x 60 mm coverslip to form 24 individual incubation chambers. Multiple o-rings on the bottom of the chamber body securely hold the coverslip in place using a vacuum. The size of the individual chambers are 2.6 mm in diameter and the cylindrical portion of each chamber holds approximately 25 µl. The chambers are spaced on a 9 x 9 mm grid. This chamber system is commonly used with treated or coated slides. It can be used for ELISA techniques or other methods in which a treated surface is used. It is also ideal for TIRF experiments when proteins, oligos or cDNA are attached to the slide surface. The vacuum port connect to 1/16 inch ID tubing. Other Styles We also manufacture other styles of Vacu-CellTM perfusion chambers for both circular and rectangular coverslips. You can examine them on our product overview page. Vacuum System
